[ARCHIVED] City Accepting Applications for Boards, Commissions

Are you looking for an opportunity to serve your community and help shape the future of Granbury?  The City of Granbury is now accepting applications for boards and commissions with members whose terms are expiring in January of 2019. 

The purpose of the City’s advisory boards and commissions is to make recommendations to the City Council on a variety of issues. To learn more about each board and commission or to review the Boards and Commissions Policy Manual, visit granbury.org/boardscommissions. There are eleven boards and commissions with openings:

All applications should be submitted to the City Secretary’s Office by Friday, December 28. Applications can be picked up in person at City Hall or downloaded online at granbury.org/boardscommissions. Please note that the Ethics Commission has a separate application from all other boards and commissions.

Applications may be submitted

  • in person at City Hall (116 W. Bridge St.),
  • via mail (P.O Box 969, Granbury, TX 76048), or
  • via email (cawalker@granbury.org).

Appointments will be made by City Council in January 2019. Those appointed by City Council will be notified by mail. Applicants not appointed will be considered for future assignments as vacancies occur.
