As Granbury continues to grow, one of our top priorities is making sure that growth benefits the people and businesses who already call this community home. That’s why the City has created a Qualified Local Vendor Program. This program helps identify local businesses that are interested in participating in major projects taking place in and around Granbury. 

In addition, the City is now including local spend requirements in agreements for projects that receive economic development incentives. Simply put, when public incentives are provided, we expect those projects to use local businesses and talent whenever possible. This helps ensure that investment in Granbury also creates real opportunities for Granbury and Hood County companies.

This program helps:

Participation is simple. This questionnaire allows local businesses to share what they do and be considered when opportunities arise. Inclusion does not guarantee work, but it ensures local businesses have a seat at the table.
