  • The City of Granbury offers multiple convenient ways to pay your utility bill:

    Make one-time payments or set up recurring auto-pay using your debit or credit card.

    To register, use the same email address provided on your utility application.

    ๐Ÿ”น Auto Draft from Bank Account
    Set up automatic payments by completing the Bank Draft Authorization Form and submitting a voided check for verification.

    ๐Ÿ”น Drop Box
    Use the green drop-off box located in front of City Hall for check or money order payments (no cash, please).

    Pay inside City Hall during the following hours:

  • The City of Granbury currently has three billing zones. Your zone determines your bill's due date.

    Both your billing zone and due date can be found on your utility bill. Please refer to your bill to ensure timely payment.

  • Setting Up New Utility Service

    All customers wishing to set up utility service with the City of Granbury must complete a New Service Application, either:

    ๐Ÿ”น Online at www.granbury.org/newservice
    ๐Ÿ”น In person at City Hall – 116 W. Bridge St.

    Required documents to include with your application:
    โœ”๏ธ A copy of your lease agreement or closing documents
    โœ”๏ธ A copy of your driver’s license

  • Accounts not paid in full by the due date will incur a 10% penalty on the next business day.

    A late notice will be sent the following business day, which will include a disconnect date. If payment is not received by this date, the account is subject to disconnection.

    Service will only be reconnected after the full balance, including any applicable reconnect fees, has been paid.

    Payments returned due to insufficient funds, closed accounts, or declined auto-pay cards will be considered non-payments. A handling fee may apply and must be paid via cash, money order, or cashier's check.

  • Water Shut-Off & Maintenance Responsibilities

    If you need your water service turned off, please contact:

    ๐Ÿ“ž After-Hours Line: 817-588-0488

    We will dispatch trained personnel to shut off water at the City's meter.
    โš ๏ธ Do not attempt to turn off the water yourself.

    Responsibility for Water Lines:

    • The City maintains and repairs the water meter and all pipes leading to the meter from the municipal supply.

    • Property owners are responsible for all pipes from the meter to the building.
