Teams of four people or more (everyone must be at least seven years old) are needed. Each Team Member will be given trash bags and a vest. Bring your own gloves.

The Team Leader will also get a map of a public area in Granbury for your Team to clean up. You’ll leave the trash in a bag at your clean-up area. City staff will pick it up.

You asked about Shred It Instead...

CAN I WATCH MY PAPER GET SHREDDED? The shredding is done on the spot in batches into a shredding truck. If you would like to see your batch shredded, tell the lot attendant you want to park instead of drive through. Then, carry your paper to the shredding truck and wait until the batch containing your paper is shredded.

ARE MY PAPERS SECURE? The company that has been hired for this event is the same that the City entrusts for its ongoing secure shredding service.

HOW MANY BOXES OF PAPER AND WHAT SIZE BOXES CAN I BRING TO HAVE SHREDDED? Bring up to three boxes, each able to be carried by one person.

WHAT ARE THE HOURS FOR SHRED IT INSTEAD? The event is from 9 a.m. to noon, or until the shredding truck is full.
