Eclipse April 8, 2024

Post-Eclipse Traffic Expected

Granbury and neighboring areas will experience a total eclipse on Monday, April 8. Expect the skies to be darker between 12:21 p.m. and 3 p.m. The city expects an influx of visitors for the eclipse. Many of them will leave the area between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m., leading to substantial traffic congestion. Please consider avoiding traveling in the Granbury area between 2:30 and 4 p.m. on Monday, April 8. Thanks.   --Police Chief Mitch Galvan
