Utility Billing Update
Some City of Granbury utility customers are currently (Aug. 25) receiving messages about overdue bills or balances due. They are inaccurate. Please ignore them.
Due to a computer network outage, no accurate utility bills are being sent. You will be notified when accurate billing resumes. No service is being turned off. No late fees will be charged.
Customers are encouraged to make a payment based on your July bill by cash or check. That will assist with household budgeting and avoid a large balance due when billing is resumed.
The City is temporarily not accepting credit card payments for utility bills. We realize this will be an inconvenience to many people. We will resume credit card transactions as soon as possible.
If you are on Self-Set-Up Credit Card Draft, please watch your account for missed payments. Self-Set-Up Credit Card Draft will not be processed during the network outage and will not draft missed payments when the network is restored.
If you are on Bank Auto-Draft, you may want to make a payment now by a different method. Otherwise, the entire balance due will be drafted when the network is restored.
Payments can be made by check, using the City Hall green drive-through drop box at 116 W Bridge Street, Granbury, TX 76048. Or in person by cash or check inside City Hall, 116 W Bridge Street, Granbury, TX 76048. Or, mail a check to: Utility Billing Payment, 116 W Bridge Street, Granbury, TX 76048
Thanks again for your patience.
