Continuing drought conditions have prompted the City of Granbury to implement Stage 2 Water Conservation. Effective 12:01 a.m. Friday, August 11, 2023, residents are required to reduce water usage.

Lawn Watering Schedule If your home address ends in 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8, only water on Sunday and Thursday. If your home address ends in 1 ,3, 5, 7, or 9, only water on Wednesday and Saturday. Only water between the hours of 8 p.m. and midnight or between midnight and 10 a.m. on your designated lawn watering day.

This request includes golf courses. If the golf course has a well or can draw water from the Lake, please use those sources for lawn watering on any day you desire.

Washing Vehicles The City now requires that residents only wash their vehicles, boats, or trailers at their homes between the hours of 8 p.m. and midnight or between midnight and 10 a.m. on your designated lawn watering day. Please use a hose equipped with a shut-off nozzle and rinse quickly. Commercial car wash businesses are not affected by this request.

Pools If you must add water to your pool, please do it between the hours of 8 p.m. and midnight or between midnight and 10 a.m. on your designated lawn watering day. Unless it supports aquatic life or has a recirculation system, please shut off your ornamental pond or fountain.

Prohibited activities Please don’t use City water to wash sidewalks, driveways or parking lots. Don’t use City water for dust control or on building exteriors except for fire protection.

Households violating these restrictions may be fined up to $500 and/or have water service terminated. If you have questions, please call 682-205-1707.

Utility Billing Update

Due to the recent computer network outage, the City of Granbury will be unable to produce the August Utility Bills on schedule. Utility bills will go out as soon as possible and the due date will be extended appropriately.

We encourage customers to make a payment based on their July bill to assist with household budgeting and avoid large balances due when bills are produced.

-Payments can be made by cash, check or credit card in person inside City Hall;

-Use the City Hall green drive-through drop box (for checks only);

-Mail a check to: Utility Billing Payment, 116 W Bridge Street, Granbury, TX 76048, or;

-Make a payment over the phone by calling 682-205-1731.

If you are on Self-Set-Up Credit Card Draft, please watch your account for missed payments. Self-Set-Up Credit Card Draft will not be processed during the network outage and will not draft missed payments when the network is restored.

If you are on Bank Auto-Draft you may want to make a payment now by a different method. Otherwise, the entire balance due will be drafted when the network is restored.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
