During an Emergency Meeting on Tuesday (Aug. 8) Granbury City Council approved a budget amendment to fund consulting services. They will augment existing City and outside resources working to restore the City’s computer network.
On Sunday, July 30, the City’s network was compromised. Existing defenses limited the attack. Subsequently, a second attack was launched. At this time there is no evidence personal data of City customers being compromised. Council’s action will fund services which will restore the City’s network sooner.
