Short-Term Rental Workshop Recap
Approximately 75 people attended a Short -Term Rental (STR) Workshop at Granbury City Hall on Wednesday evening. About 20 people spoke, including STR owners and residents, courteously giving a variety of viewpoints. Some of the main categories of discussion included the number of guests, parking and trash associated with an STR. Some attendees provided written statements.
City Staff greatly appreciates the opportunity to hear from the community on this topic. They will review the community input and incorporate ideas into an item for the Planning and Zoning Commission (P&Z) to discuss at their June 13 meeting. P&Z will be creating a recommendation for City Council consideration.
P&Z and Council meetings where STR is discussed will include opportunities for public comment on the subject.
