[ARCHIVED] Early voting is underway for the July 27, 2021, Runoff Election for Councilperson Place 5

Early voting is underway for the July 27, 2021, Runoff Election for the purpose of electing a Councilperson, Place 5 to fill the remainder of the unexpired three (3) year term, or until the successor has been duly qualified. Pursuant to Section 2.023 of the Texas Election Code, the candidates in a runoff election are the candidates who receive the highest and second highest number of votes in the main election, on June 29, 2021. 

 

In accordance with the official election results, those candidates are listed below:

 

Candidates -

Councilperson, Place 5

  • Steven Vale
  • Cathy Reidy

 

Early Voting Dates and Times -

Early voting by personal appearance will be conducted each weekday at Hood County Annex 1, 1410 West Pearl Street, Granbury, Texas 76048, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. beginning on July 12, 2021, and ending on July 23, 2021. Early voting hours will be extended to 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, and on Thursday, July 22, 2021. 

 

Ballot by Mail -

Applications for ballots by mail must be received no later than the close of business on Friday, July 16, 2021. Applications for ballot by mail shall be mailed to:

1410 West Pearl Street, Granbury, Texas 76048

 

Election Day Polling Location -

Voting on Election Day, July 27, 2021, shall be conducted between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Hood County Annex 1, 1410 West Pearl Street, Granbury, Texas 76048
