At the May 4, 2021, Granbury City Council regular meeting, Mayor Pro Tem Tony Mobley and the entire City Council named Brawner Elementary 5th grader Maddie Caskey as the final 2021 Honorary City Councilmember. She is the daughter of Matt and Christy Caskey.

“Congratulations on being chosen to serve as an Honorary Councilmember,” said Dr. Jeremy Glenn, Granbury ISD Superintendent. “Your service to Granbury ISD and as a student leader (at Brawner Elementary) is appreciated. We wish you the best of luck on a bright future.”
