As part of Granbury’s May 4, 2021, City Council meeting, the Texas Department of Transportation will give a pre-recorded virtual public presentation on the Highway 377 Expansion Project as an agenda item.
TxDOT project staff’s video presentation will include both audio and visual components, with project maps and materials available online. Following the virtual public meeting, the presentation will be available for viewing at www.txdot.gov (then search “US 377 in Hood County”) until Wednesday, May 19. Please note that the presentation will not be available on the website until Tuesday, May 4, at 6 p.m. and it will be available for comment until Wednesday, May 19.
The proposed project design would reconstruct and widen Hwy 377 from a four-lane divided highway to a six-lane design with concrete medians, very similar to the Hwy 377 redesign through the City of Benbrook that was finished in 2020. The project will start just north of FM 167 (Fall Creek Highway) and will run to FM 51 (Paluxy Road).
Other city council agenda items will be announced the day before the meeting. You can sign-up to automatically receive these City Council agendas and meeting notices by going to www.granbury.org/notifyme and selecting “Communications & News Releases under “News Flash.”
