[ARCHIVED] March food service health scores released

The City of Granbury released the March 2021 Food Service Establishment Health Scores for more than a dozen sites, including the Hood County Jail. The City’s Public Health Inspector examines all food establishments within city limits, including full-service restaurants, fast food establishments, gas stations, daycares and schools.

Inspections are conducted 2-4 times annually, with scores ranging from 0 to 100 demerits. A score of 100 indicates a perfect score, while 70 indicates serious conditions that need to be corrected. It is important to remember that scores represent only a snapshot of the facility when the inspector arrived. The conditions could be better or worse while an inspector is not present.

Scores from the March inspections ranged from two perfect scores of 100 to scores as low as 70. This month’s scores were:
