[ARCHIVED] Water’s Edge Dr. Reconstruction Project Underway

PHASING PLAN Waters Edge Dr

Monday the City of Granbury Public Works Department and consultants Enprotec/Hibbs & Todd and contractor Reytech Services began the two-phase complete reconstruction of Water’s Edge Drive from US Highway 377 to the Wal-Mart Service entrance.

The first phase of the reconstruction of Water’s Edge Dr. will begin at Hwy. 377 to the just north of the Wal-Mart/Schlotzsky’s entrance. During Phase 1, the Wal-Mart/Schlotzsky’s entrance will remain open. Phase 2 will begin immediately after that and run from just north of the Wal-Mart/Schlotzsky’s entrance to the Wal-Mart service entrance. Each phase of the reconstruction will require Water’s Edge to be completely closed within the phase limits.

“There is no planned utility work during either phase,” said Granbury Public Works Director Rick Crownover. “The project is scheduled to be completed in 4-6 weeks, weather permitting.”

Subdivisions in the affected area include Harbor Lakes, Catalina Bay, the Islands, Water’s Edge and Highland Park Bay. Each of these areas will be accessible via Hill Blvd. and Harbor Lakes Dr. Local business and residents will be notified of the pending construction, and message boards will be placed along Highway 377 and Water’s Edge with information on the pending construction.
