[ARCHIVED] City Seeking Business Owner Input at Noise Ordinance Workshop

3-8-2021 Noise Ordinance Affected area

The City of Granbury will play host to a Noise Ordinance workshop for business owners only on Thursday, March 18, 2021, at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at Granbury City Hall, located at 116 W. Bridge Street. The City is seeking input from business owners near the Historic Town Square area regarding the volume of music coming from establishments in this area.

Feedback from business owners will help the City staff identify and prioritize noise concerns, develop clear and enforceable noise violation enforcement thresholds, and make possible updates and changes to the City's Noise Ordinance. Proposed changes to the ordinance will be brought to the Granbury City Council for final consideration.

All business owners within or near the attached map's target area are invited to participate in this workshop. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there is limited seating capacity, and the City will follow CDC guidelines. The City asks that business owners RSVP via email to comdev@granbury.org.
