The City of Granbury received noticed this afternoon that its contractor for trash and recycling services, Waste Connections Lone Star, Inc., will be delayed for Monday morning, and possibly Tuesday, because of dangerous weather and driving conditions.
“As you know our areas of service are in dangerous weather situations with ice/snow. We will delay service for Monday and plan on servicing the areas on Tuesday. The weather is unpredictable at this time and will have another conference call (Monday) at 2 p.m. to discuss servicing Monday customers on Tuesday,” said Sean Snowden, District Manager, Waste Connections. “Please know our first value is Safety of our Employees and the Communities we have the Privilege to Serve. As we all watch the challenges unfolding with the weather, we will keep you all informed with further possible service delays as we ensure everyone’s safety.”
