[ARCHIVED] December 2020 Building Permit Numbers Up Over 2019 Levels

December 2020 Building Permit Numbers Up Over 2019 Levels

The City of Granbury’s building permit numbers for the month of December were released today, and like most every month in 2020 they show marked growth from the same time last year.

Of the building permit categories, seven of them showed up to double-digit growth from the same time last year. These included:

  • Building Plumbing (Residential) permits – from 39 to 51
  • Building Mechanical (Residential) permits – from 8 to 32
  • Irrigation permits – from 3 to 32

With the moratorium on development and building permits being approved at the Dec. 21, 2020 Granbury City Council meeting, these permit numbers are likely to flatten over the next 120 days. But as these trends show, Granbury is a city on the grow.

These numbers, and those from previous months and years, can be found on the City of Granbury website at www.granbury.org/1004/9815/Monthly-Building-Reports  For questions or more information please contact Granbury Public Information Officer Alex Southern at 817-573-6764 or at asouthern@granbury.org.
