The Granbury Regional Airport has announced that its monthly “Fly-in” Pancake Breakfast that was scheduled for Saturday, has been canceled due to renewed concerns regarding the steady climb of COVID-19 numbers in Hood County.

More than 100 local and regional aviators normally attend the monthly fundraiser that benefits a different charity each month.

“We apologize to our participants who really enjoy these monthly get-togethers,” said Airport Manager Pat Stewart, “but we have to take everyone’s health and safety into account before we can host another event.”

The Fly-in breakfast for August is on hold at this time but may be rescheduled if numbers permit.

For more information on the event, please contact Granbury Regional Airport Manager Pat Stewart at 817-579-8533 or pstewart@granbury.org. Granbury Public Information Officer Alex Southern is available at 817-573-6764 or asouthern@granbury.org.
