[ARCHIVED] Hill Blvd. compromised by rainfall; Down to two lanes this week

Granbury Logo

Sections of the 1100 block of Hill Boulevard (behind Lowe’s Home Improvement store) and its stormwater runoff drain were compromised this past weekend by torrential rainfall. Crews from the Public Works Department have assessed the situation and have hired contractors from B&E Constructiontomake any needed repairs to the street, its underlayment and stormwater runoff drains. The street is currently shut down to two lanes and will remain so until repairs are completed.

The City is asking all drivers to avoid this area as much as possible in order to expedite repairs and for the safety of work crews on the project. Weather permitting, all repairs should be finished by Friday.
