Effective March 25, Waste Connections will suspend recycling pickup services (all pickups will be trash pickups), and, because of this, a small discount will be reflected in customers’ utility bills. Waste Connections will also be limiting Residential Recycle and Trash services to collection of only contents that are securely bagged or in a container cart. Household trash that is not properly bagged and tied is susceptible to spills and further increases the risk of exposure for Waste Connections personnel to potentially infectious waste. The City of Granbury, in partnership with Waste Connections of Texas, is holding a residential bulk trash pick-up day within city limits on Saturday, April 11. More at www.granbury.org/covid19
