The City of Granbury is partnering with wwWILSON Architects, PLLC to host a free Lunch and Learn presentation and Q&A regarding Texas Administrative Code, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance¸ and Texas Accessibility Standards (TAS) compliance on Monday, February 24, 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Lunch will be provided. The Lunch and Learn is open to anyone that would like to attend, but please RSVP to walter@wwwilsonarchitects.com by Friday, February 7 in order to ensure an accurate headcount.
Depending in number of registrants, the Lunch and Learn will either be held at the City Hall City Council Chambers or Lake Granbury Conference Center.
Registered Accessibility Specialist Jimmy Bell will lead the presentation. Bell has been a Registered Accessibility Specialist in the State of Texas since 1998 and is a Charter Member of the Accessibility Professionals Association (APA). Bell has successfully performed thousands of TAS inspections throughout the State of Texas and has consulted on a wide range of projects and properties, providing evaluations and assessments for facilities in Texas and across the nation. Bell has more than 15 years of experience in commercial construction including multi-family housing, retail, medical, resorts and country clubs, multi-story office buildings, and industrial power facilities.
