On Friday, December 20, City of Granbury hosted its annual employee awards luncheon at the Lake Granbury Conference Center. During the event, City Manager Chris Coffman recognized several employees for specific honors and milestone years of service.
Employee of the Year
Assistant Director of Finance Elizabeth Bailey was named 2019 Employee of the Year. Hired in 2015 as a financial analyst, Bailey became the assistant director of the department last year. Bailey has played a vital role in the successful planning and execution of many projects, and her software skills and expertise have improved and streamlined processes that impact the City’s everyday performance.
Director of Finance Eva Gregory wrote the nomination for Bailey in which she noted that, “Her efforts not only benefited our department, but they also set an example and inspired co-workers to be team players,” she said, “She inhabits skills we all want, exceptional listener and communicator, critical thinker, highly adaptable, productive, and dependable contributor committed to excellence.”
