[ARCHIVED] Election Returns Gathering, Live Stream at Lake Granbury Conference Center

Elections2018

Tuesday, November 6 is Election Day, and the City of Granbury is opening the Lake Granbury Conference Center as a gathering place for the community to watch Hood County’s election returns for local results.

Following the format of previous years’ events, the City will host the November 6 election return gathering at Lake Granbury Conference Center (621 E Pearl St). Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and will remain open throughout the evening as election returns come in. Tables and chairs will be available. Attendees may come and go; outside food and drink is allowed (food and drink will not be sold onsite).

With Hood County’s program that takes information from voting centers and posts them to the County’s website in real time, the public can get timely election results from any internet accessible device (www.co.hood.tx.us/682/Election-Results). These results pages will be projected on the large screens at the Lake Granbury Conference Center during the event.

Thanks to Granbury Media’s live streaming capabilities, the local Election Day event will be broadcast live on television and the internet simultaneously. Those who cannot come to the Lake Granbury Conference Center on Tuesday night will be able to watch election results live stream on the City’s cable channel (Charter 190, AT&T U-verse 99) or online at livestream.com/GranburyTV/Elections2018. Election Night live stream coverage begins at 7:00 p.m., which is also when Hood County will begin to post election results online.
