At the August 7 meeting, the Granbury City Council set the dates for the public hearings in which the community can give the Council their input on two items: the Proposed Fiscal Year 2018-2019 Property Tax Rate and the Proposed Fiscal Year 2018-2019 Annual Budget.
Property Tax Rate
A tax rate of $0.399385 per $100 valuation has been proposed for adoption by the Granbury City Council. This rate is the same tax rate that was adopted last fiscal year.
State law requires that two public hearings be held before adopting this proposed tax rate. The public hearings will be held during two Regular City Council Meetings:
- Tuesday, August 21, 2018, 6:00 p.m. at City Hall (116 W. Bridge St.)
- Tuesday, September 4, 2018, 6:00 p.m. at City Hall (116 W. Bridge St.)
Annual Budget
The City Council will hold one public hearing on the Proposed Fiscal Year 2018-2019 Annual Budget. The public hearing will be held separately from a Regular City Council Meeting:
- Monday, September 10, 2018, 6:00 p.m. at City Hall (116 W. Bridge St.)
