[ARCHIVED] City Names New Public Information Officer

Ms. Kyle has been with the City since January 2016. She was originally hired as the Broadcasting Services Coordinator for the City’s public TV station, Granbury Media. In that role she live-streamed local events and government meetings, created informative original videos on an array of topics, and worked with volunteers to broadcast Granbury ISD sports. Before joining the City of Granbury staff, Ms. Kyle earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from Tarleton State University and worked and interned in print and broadcast journalism.

“I’m truly excited for the opportunity to serve in this role,” she said, “I’ll be working to make sure that I am a good liaison between the City and its wonderful community.”

The Public Information Officer will work closely with Assistant City Manager Michael Ross.  “Bethany will be an outstanding Public Information Officer for the City of Granbury and we could not be prouder of her,” he said.

Ms. Kyle became Interim Public Information Officer for the City of Granbury following the retirement of the employee who had held that position.
