GREAT GRANBURY CLEANUP Teams of four people or more (everyone must be at least seven years old) are needed. Come to City Hall, 116 W Bridge St. on Saturday, April 5 at 8:30 a.m.
Online Registration and Under 18 Consent Form will be available soon. On the morning of the event: Please bring leather gloves. Volunteers will receive safety vest, bottles of Kroger water, trash bags. Half of your Team Members should get grabbers.
Trash collection area options:
- 377--James Road to Loop 567,
- Loop 567--Bus. 377 (Airport) to Bus. 377 (Mesquite Pit),
- 144--Pearl Street to Spanish Trail,
- FM 4--377 to Fall Creek Highway, and
- Crawford Ave.
You’ll leave the trash in a bag at your clean-up area. City staff will pick it up. At the conclusion of your trash collection, please return your vests and grabbers to the "back porch" of City Hall.
WHAT IS SHRED IT INSTEAD? Shred It Instead will be Saturday, April 5 from 9 a.m. until the truck is filled at American Town Hall, 220 N Travis Street.
Bring up to 3 "Bankers Boxes" of paper only. No binder clips, staples or paper clips, please. Volunteers will unload your vehicle.
CAN I WATCH MY PAPER GET SHREDDED? The shredding is done on the spot in batches into a shredding truck. If you would like to see your batch shredded, tell the lot attendant you want to park instead of drive through. Then, carry your paper to the shredding truck and wait until the batch containing your paper is shredded.
ARE MY PAPERS SECURE? The company that has been hired for this event is the same one that worked the April 2024 event and also that the City entrusts for its ongoing secure shredding service.
HOW MANY BOXES OF PAPER AND WHAT SIZE BOXES CAN I BRING TO HAVE SHREDDED? Up to three Bankers Boxes, max size of 24x15x10 1/4"
WHAT ARE THE HOURS FOR SHRED IT INSTEAD? The event is from 9 a.m. to noon, or until the shredding truck is filled.

BULK TRASH PICKUP IS SATURDAY, April 5 Have your trash curbside by 7 a.m.
Acceptable items for bulk trash pick-up include mattresses, refrigerators, freezers, and a/c units—which must have certification of Freon reclamation. Tree limbs will be picked up if they are bundled and less than four feet long. There is a six-item limit per household. Items that will not be picked up include tires, paint, oil, liquids, construction and masonry materials. Bulk trash day does not affect normal residential pick-up.
