The City of Granbury congratulates four members of the Granbury Volunteer Fire Department for their outstanding contributions. (Pictured left to right) Carter Chance earned Rookie of the Year, an award voted on by the entire department. David Lowery was named Firefighter of the Year and received a traditional leather firefighter’s helmet. Jacob Guiterrez received the Officers Award, chosen by the Captains for his exemplary service and dedication. Colin Pieren was presented with the Chief’s Award in recognition of his commitment and promising future in the fire service.
