On Friday, December 6, at 3 p.m., Granbury will proudly display a piece of the historic USS Arizona in the City Hall Council Chambers. This cherished relic honors the memory of the United States Navy members who lost their lives during the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.
This special event includes a 20-minute video presentation from Hawaii and brief discussion time, sharing the story of how the artifact came to Granbury and the significance it holds in honoring our nation’s heroes.
UPDATE: Granbury’s Pearl Harbor Remembrance Ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 7, has been canceled due to anticipated inclement weather.
