Exciting new play features have been added for kids ages 2 to 12 at Lambert Branch Park, located at the corner of Rucker and North Brazos streets. Young adventurers can test their balance on netted rope climbs and a playful “wobble leaf.” These additions are made from sustainable materials designed for outdoor play in Texas weather: they don’t get too warm or too cool. For safety, the play area’s base is cushioned with soft, shredded rubber nuggets.
Lambert Branch Park also offers a fishing pier, a spacious open area perfect for recreational activities and events, and picnic tables throughout. Plus, it connects directly to the Hike and Bike Trail for those who want to explore even more.
