The mission of the Granbury Police Department is to enhance the quality of life for those living in the City of Granbury by providing quality police service to the community, through fairness, integrity, and professionalism, promoting a safe environment through police and citizen interaction, and by the impartial enforcement of the laws of the City of Granbury and the State of Texas within the frame work of the United States Constitution.

Improve the Quality of Community Life
We must understand the importance of community values and expectations, be responsive to the concerns of citizens, and encourage officers to expand their roles in helping the community to develop into a better place to live.

The role of the police is to resolve conflict through impartial enforcement of law, not through burden of judgment or punishment. All persons shall be treated equitably and with compassion.
