Pearl St. Project

Starting Sunday night, April 27, TxDOT crews will begin repaving Business 377/Pearl Street. The project is expected to last about two months, weather permitting.

To complete the work safely, lane closures will take place overnight, between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m., Sunday evenings through Friday mornings.

The project will be completed in sections, and several detours will be in place at different stages. Some detours may be reused throughout the project. Flaggers will be on-site to help guide drivers through the area. Here’s what to expect:

-Westbound Pearl Street will be closed between Travis Street and Lancaster Street. Drivers will be detoured via Travis Street and Bridge Street.

-Eastbound Pearl Street will be closed between Lancaster Street and Travis Street. Drivers coming from SH 144 will be rerouted to US 377.

-Westbound Pearl Street from US 377 to the Brazos River Bridge will be closed. The US 377 exits to Pearl Street will also be closed. Traffic will detour via SH 144 (Morgan Street).

-Eastbound Pearl Street from the Brazos River Bridge to US 377 will be closed. The US 377 exits to Pearl Street will be closed as well. Traffic will detour via SH 144 (Morgan Street).

-Towne Lake Apartments will remain accessible via Harbor Lakes Drive to Crawford Avenue.

As the City receives updated closure schedules from TxDOT, Detour Maps will be posted to help guide you through the area.
