Shanley Sculpture Garden Gateway

Council discussed the Shanley Park Association's proposal to add a gateway into the existing trail system that passes through Shanley Park. The gateway would be constructed in phases as funding is available. No City funds are being requested for this project. WATCH VIDEO OF THE DISCUSSION AND VOTE

Early Voting

Early Voting through Nov. 1

City Election cancelled 

The candidate filing window for the November 5, 2024 Granbury City Council election closed with incumbent Bruce Wadley filing unopposed for re-election to Place 3. Councilperson Place 5 incumbent Steven Vale is not running for re-election. Zeb Ullom filed for Councilperson Place 5. He was unopposed. 

Because both candidates were unopposed, the City Council voted to cancel the election and declared Bruce Wadley and Zeb Ullom elected.

Calinco Drive

On schedule

Improvements on Calinco Drive are ongoing, with residents notified that some driveways will be temporarily blocked during paving operations through Friday, Nov. 1. Originally set for completion by the end of November, the multi-phase project is on schedule.

If you do not need to use Calinco Drive, please consider taking an alternate route until the work is complete. Thank you for your cooperation.
