Granbury Regional Airport 

wins Statewide Award

The City-owned Granbury Regional Airport has been named the "2023 Most Improved Airport of the Year" for the State of Texas. TxDOT noted the addition of the new, mile-long runway and additional significant aviation upgrades when presenting the award. The Mayor, councilmembers and City leadership thanked Pat Stewart, Airport Manager for his key role in Airport enhancements.

Linemen have their day

Council recognized the City's linemen on National Lineman Appreciation Day, which is annually held on April 18. The Mayor, Councilmembers and City Manager expressed their appreciation for the many necessary tasks performed by these men.  WATCH THE VIDEO

Loop 567 closed Thursday

Northeast Loop 567 between Reunion Court and Porter Court will be closed on Thursday (April 20) from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. for Granbury Police Department accident reconstruction. Drivers should find an alternate route. As a reminder, commercial vehicles are prohibited from using certain routes near the Square.

Free Life Jackets May 6

Lake Granbury’s Water Safety Awareness Day will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday (May 6) at Rough Creek Park, 2209 S. Morgan St. (Hwy 144) with more than 300 free kids life jackets, 100 free fishing poles and lots of booths and excitement. CLICK HERE FOR MORE DETAILS
