Plan for a Vacation
"The anticipation and planning of a vacation is almost as beneficial as a vacation itself." -Anonymous
The City of Granbury's Convention & Visitors Bureau – Visit Granbury – as part of "National Plan for Vacation Day (NPVD)" January 25 is encouraging everyone to start planning a trip. Either plan to go somewhere or plan to invite someone to Granbury.
The U.S. Travel Association encourages Americans to plan their vacation days for the entire year at the start of the year. After nearly two years of pandemic stress and fatigue, NPVD is an opportunity for Americans to look ahead to brighter days and make plans for getaways or vacations over the coming months.
This year's NPVD comes when American workers report feeling extreme levels of burnout. According to Destination Analysts, more than two-thirds of American workers feel at least moderately burned out and 13 percent are extremely burned out.
"Visit Granbury is joining thousands of organizations across the country to celebrate NPVD and encouraging Americans to take some much-needed time off,” said Tammy Dooley, Director Visit Granbury.
“By committing to planning on January 25, Americans can all enjoy the many benefits of taking a break while giving themselves something to look forward to—and Visit Granbury has some great ideas to help you plan your perfect getaway,” Dooley continued.
