Go to the Visit Granbury website to see a calendar of community events happening in and around Granbury year-round.
The City of Granbury Parks and Recreation Department hosts the annual Community-wide Easter Egg Hunt at City Park each spring. This free event offers youth 12-years-old and younger the opportunity to hunt for 50,000 eggs hidden throughout City Park (corner of Pearl and Park Streets).
Balance your Easter treats by kicking off the weekend with some exercise! On Saturday morning the Granbury Parks and Recreation Department will host the Run for Your PEEPS 5K Walk/Run. Because the mission of this event is to encourage individuals, old and young, to get active and to support their ‘PEEPS,’ or fellow community members, a portion of the proceeds will be gifted to a local charity. More information and registration at www.granbury.org/5k. Course Map.
The Granbury Chamber of Commerce's Old-Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration, the community's signature event, draws tens of thousands to Granbury with a parade, contests, rodeo, live shows, and acclaimed fireworks.
