Color The Beach 5k Fun Run- Saturday May 7, 2022

The City of Granbury Parks and Recreation is hosting a 5k color fun run. Run/Walk from the City Beach to Shanley Park and back, getting colored as you go! Here’s how it works: You show up in your brightest white shirts, shorts, and shoes and we shower you along the route with vibrant colors. You’re guaranteed to go home colorful! Have no fear, these colors are non-toxic and should easily come off in the wash. You might want to bring a towel for the ride home. Packet Pickup will be at the Granbury City Beach (623 E Pearl St. Granbury TX 76048) 7:30 am - 8:45 am. Run will begin at 9:00 am. Cost is $25.Color The Beach Fun Run is an untimed 5K run/walk for all ages. Fall Festival - Friday, October 29, 2021

The City of Granbury Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting the Fall Festival 7:30 P.M.- 9:30 P.M. at Decker Field, 301 N Hannaford Street. This free event offers a Costume Contest, Games, Music, Pumpkins and Candy. Come dressed in your best costume! Winners will be announced at 8:30 P.M.

Community Wide Easter Egg Hunt

The City of Granbury Parks and Recreation Department hosts the annual Community-wide Easter Egg Hunt at City Park each spring. This free event offers youth 12-years-old and younger the opportunity to hunt for 50,000 eggs hidden throughout City Park (corner of Pearl and Park Streets). 

Run for Your PEEPS 5K Walk/Run

Balance your Easter treats by kicking off the weekend with some exercise! On Saturday morning the Granbury Parks and Recreation Department will host the Run for Your PEEPS 5K Walk/Run. Because the mission of this event is to encourage individuals, old and young, to get active and to support their ‘PEEPS,’ or fellow community members, a portion of the proceeds will be gifted to a local charity. Fourth of July Celebration (Granbury Chamber)

The Granbury Chamber of Commerce's Old-Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration, the community's signature event, draws tens of thousands to Granbury with a parade, contests, rodeo, live shows, and acclaimed fireworks.
